Welcome to Kevin's Writings and Stories where you can read some of the story ideas and poetry that pop to mind. It also is a place to hone my writing skills and express myself and relieve frustrations. This is also a quasi private venue for me to experiment and work on my writing. This is more of a journal instead of a traditional writing website for this blog won't probably be publicized to any great extent, unless I want to promote a specific piece. Primarily, this is the ultimate of escape venues for me on the world wide web where I can go into my special little world and the one or two of you that stumble upon this place in a drunken search for porn or whatever can enjoy it.
As for who I am, I'm a wannabe writer of course. I enjoy writing because it is the clearest way I know how to express myself. Plus I can pick my words carefully when I'm sitting in front of a computer and typing away on a keyboard whereas sometimes you cannot when you are speaking. I'm married to a beautiful wife who puts up with me and all my faults. My day job for now is in sales but I hope to write professionally one day. I'm a passionate, highly sensitive person who enjoys reading, writing, sports, shooting, the outdoors, and dogs. I like sci-fi, history, adventure stories, and of course a good laugh. My sense of humor is more along the lines of the sarcastic and ironic. Finally, but definitely least important, I am a follower of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
